Go to Sign Up page and follow the instructions.
You can choose one of 2 currencies available for accounts (for tariffs, billing and
payments): EUR or USD.
Please note: It is impossible to change the currency of the account once it is
created.
After the procedure has been completed, you will receive your login data (username &
password) by E-mail.
Go to Login page and enter your self-care area using the username
& password received.
When logged in you will be able to see your current balance, browse and download your
CDRs and Invoices,
configure your fixed/static IP addresses and make prepayments.

Configure equipment
The username & password you received by E-mail after completing Sign Up procedure can
also be used as the SIP-username & SIP-password accordingly to connect to our SIP
server in order to make calls. Here are the settings for SIP connection:
SIP Proxy/Registrar: sip.portalinks.net
SIP username : your username received
SIP password : your password received
If prefer connection using fixed/static IP addresses (use Remote IP authentication instead of Digest one), you can configure the fixed IP addresses of your gateways/servers in your self-care area. If you are using a hosted VoIP switch/gateway, please be sure you use these IP addresses only- they are uniquely assigned to your account. All incoming calls from those IP addresses will be associated with your PortaLinks account.
After we will authenticate your IP, you can connect by using one of the following PortaLinks IP addresses:
87.238.224.102 or sip.portalinks.net
The list of codecs supported:
G.723.1 (5.3 & 6.3 Kbps)
G.729 (8 Kbps)
G.711 A-law (64 Kbps)
G.711 μ-law (64 Kbps)
Fax support: Group III at 2.4, 4.8, 7.2, 9.6, 14.4 Kbps, using industry standard
T.38
DTMF relay: Signaling via RFC2833 or SIP Info. Please be noted that the selection codes
for our 2 different products are as follows:
- First Class: 0004 or blank (dialing format is 0004+E.164 or E.164)
- Business Class: 0005 (dialing format is 0005+E.164)
Example: for a call to Germany through:
- First Class you have to dial 000449xxxxxxx or 49xxxxxxx
- Business Class you have to dial 000549xxxxxxx

Test your connection
Now you are able to make few test calls in order to check your connection (we have
applied some credit for this application). You can call to any destination in the world
you like to be sure all is working properly.

Make pre-payment
In your self-care area you will find various payment methods such as Bank Transfer, Credit Card and PayPal. You can use one of them in order to Top-Up your balance at any time.
Rates and billing conditions
Our rates are billed per second from the first second on all destinations. There is NO call-setup fee applied and NO any hidden charges. Click here for our current rates overview and download.
